Uses of Microsoft Office

MICROSOFT PACKAGE
MS-package known as Microsoft Package are computer software or program that was developed by MICROSOFT COPERATION. It was presented and published by Bill Gates on 1st August 1988, at COMDEX in Las Vegas. 
This MS-Package was developed to work for almost all the Operating system including, MS-Windows Operating system, Macos, Android and iOS etc.
The Microsoft packages has suite of products which are:

    1.      Microsoft Word:



It’s a graphical word processing program that users can type with. Its main purpose is to give users access to key-in or type text (.txt), documents (.doc) just as other word processing program. But the only different with Microsoft Word and other word processing program is that, it comes with many features and tools that can be very useful to the user and it’s also a user friendly program.


    2.    Microsoft Excel:

 
It’s a spreadsheet program that has to do with calculation. It allows the users to calculate, format, organize and analyze data in a tabular form, it also have graphic tools, Pivot tables and a programming language known as Visual Basic (VB). It is always recommended for record keeping and accountancy in an Office/Bank or companies/Firms were transaction is carried out.  Apart from Excel, we still have other Spreadsheet program like Kingsoft 
                                                Spreadsheets, WPS spreadsheet, etc.


     3.    Microsoft PowerPoint:


PowerPoint (PPT or PP), it’s a presentation software that build a presentation, it allows user to add text, bulleted list, photos, charts, Videos and sound to user’s slides. It helps us present our ideas using slide to convey to information on a multimedia. It can be presented using Projectors, Smart Phones, Tablets and even TV. Instead of a speaker spending all time and stress to convinced and convey information to the audience, it’s preferable using PowerPoint to prepare and present your slides, doing that enable the speaker to hold down the attention of the audience .


    4.    Microsoft Acess:



Microsoft Acess is a DBMS- Database Management System that joined the MS-Jet Database Engine with a graphical User Interface (GUI) together with Software Development tools. Using this program or tool (MS-ACESS), its not mandatory or compulsory for you to be a developer in order to create a DB-Database or Web Application to help you work more efficient. It’s a user friendly tool that can be use by any interested and available user.


    5.     Microsoft Publisher:


Microsoft Publisher is a user graphical design application that is almost the same as MS-WORD; if not that it Publisher is mostly featured on design, page layout and less on word composition and formatting.  Is help create good and professional looking documents, Brochures, Business Cards, Calendars, Flyers, Greeting Card, Newsletters, Postcards, web sites and many more, It’s a Design base Program (i.e. it’s a desktop publishing program).

    6.    Microsoft Outlook:




Microsoft Outlook is a Personal Information Manager used to access Microsoft Exchange Server email, containing Contact manager, task management functionality. It gives Users the opportunity to communicate, share data and receive data from other users, note taking and many more.
